Clonal Selection of ‘Mincane’ Hazelnut cv: Physical Properties

This study was conducted to identify Mincane cv clones with superior physical traits in the Trabzon province, Maçka district, Esiro?lu region between 2014 and 2019. Selection research area based on objective revealed 14 traits. In these selected clones, yield, number of nuts per cluster, nut characteristics, kernel weight, shell thickness, percentage, shriveled kernel, cavity, blank split suture, black-tipped picola nut, lemoning, sour lemon taste, tumor ratio, good defective fibrousness, bleaching ability, perforated traits, sensory color properties were investigated. Physical varied greatly within cv, this difference statistically significant (P?0.001). It concluded that G1, G6, G4, G11 promising it would be useful closely monitor G13 clone.
